Amazon and Digital Pharmacy

Amazon has just launched a digital pharmacy with discounts for paying US prime members. They currently serve 45 US states and are not yet available in Hawaii, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, or Minnesota.

No rash decisions! Finnish digital health startup Popit partners with pharma firm Almirall.

We are so excited to hear of the new collaboration between our client Almirall and Finnish start-up Popit to promote medication adherence and support information dissemination to patients on their drug for plaque psoriasis called Skilarence [dimethyl fumarate].

Industry implications

Medication adherence is a crowded space and some technologies have been more successful than others in prompting behaviour change. Popit’s technology is well tolerated and non-invasive, thus very promising.

Popit has clearly establishing itself as a major contender in this space, having established partnerships big pharma such as Pfizer and Novartis in recent years.

AptarPharma acquires Cohero Health

Aptar specialize in consumer dispensing, active packaging, drug delivery solutions and services. They have now acquired all operating assets and the proprietary portfolio of Cohero Health Inc. Cohero is FDA cleared for its smartphone-connected spirometer.

Why this is notable

Aptar has made previous investments in digital respiratory company Sonmol in China and digital health company Navia Life Care in India. With this strategic bolt on, Aptar now has global capabilities to deploy digital respiratory health, utilizing either the Cohero or Aptar device portfolio/platform.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
